Region type
- Ancient, fog-choked forest; moss-covered ruins and sunken glades
Description
The Mistwold is a vast, sprawling forest of gnarled trees, peat bogs, and sinking stone trails. Perpetually shrouded in mist, it is a place where distance loses meaning and voices echo with unnatural delay. The forest itself is said to be alive — not with beasts, but with memory. Trees grow in twisted circles. Stones move. Paths return to where they began. Even the crows speak in riddles here.
Ancient structures—half-drowned druid rings, barrow mounds, and weather-worn monoliths—dot the forest, remnants of a time when this land was ruled by darker, older powers.
Optional Traits
- Veil of Mist – Ranged attacks beyond 8” suffer –1 to Shoot rolls.
