Region Type
- Ley-breach epicenter / monument field / haunted convergence
Description
Long before the other regions of Albion tore open, it was here — at the Stone Wards — that the first blood of the ley network spilled. Giant carved stones stand in rigid rows across a high moor, each inscribed with ancient runes meant to bind and direct Albion’s magical flow. But the bindings cracked. Now the Wards hum with unstable energy, and the spirits once charged with guarding this place have turned hostile or maddened.
No warband comes here lightly. The land remembers its purpose… and punishes those who defile it.
Optional Traits
Runebound Guardians
At the start of the game, roll a d20. On a 1–5, the wards activate:
- Place one Grovehusk or Wyrmflit in contact with a standing stone. It acts independently and is hostile to all.
Ley Pulse
At the end of every round, roll a d20. On a 1–3, a ley pulse surges:
- All models within 3” of a standing stone must pass a Will Roll (TN 12) or suffer –1 to Fight rolls until the end of the next turn.
